there is a stretch at barnstan on the warrington card that wo stocked with barbel and chub in the little map book hope this helps

Hiya Kev,
I have fished the Dane extensivly from Middlewhich up to Summerford but have only caught Barbel from Holmes Chapel and below.I have also fished the Weaver around Vale Royal area, including the flash for the Carp, during which I had never seen Barbel or caught Barbel or heard of anyone catching them.
I have fished the length you mention, a friend had a caravan on the site, and yes there are some good Carp to be had.

hi steve,cheers for the info mate,no problem at all on the barbel situation,i just wanted to know so as i know what to take with me when i go to my mates caravan,the thought of a barbel would be nice but my other fave quarry is there i believe Mr Pikey Pike lol, and i've yet to bag a 20lb ex pond pig so that would be a welcome capture too Big Grin
